Adventures in Indigenous education

We're excited that you're innovating in Indigenous education! We can't wait to hear what you're planning. We want to build your knowledge and capabilities until you don't need us anymore!

When you book your session, we'll ask you to tell us more about what you'd like to discuss with us, your teaching context, learning intent, curriculum links and a little about your experience and aspirations. This way, we can prepare for our yarn and help you out!

All our staff members will be able to help you, and we will also match you with staff strengths. For example, Georgie is our expert on books by Indigenous authors and Zenadth Kes (Torres Strait Islands) information, while Alison is a Deep Time History (Year 7) specialist.

After the yarning session you will be provided with a summary of the yarn and links to useful resources. You will also receive a discount for your next booking. PS drop us a line and tell us how you went - we love to hear about your teaching!

We know that teachers work together on unit and lesson plans so it's OK to have more than one person attend the session. However, only one teaching idea can be covered in each session. Sometimes, depending on what you are requesting, we may have to limit what we can cover in our yarn.
