Kapok Education staff are Indigenous Australians who have honed specialist careers in Indigenous education. See our specialist profiles below.

Alison Quin is a Tagalaka woman with a long history working in universities in critical Indigenous education. She has been a lecturer, learning designer and curriculum designer, focused on centring Indigenous knowledges for learning, innovating in pedagogy and curriculum. She is involved in Tagalaka education and research initiatives, including reclaiming language, the Tagalaka Research Committee, and Tagalaka knowledges in school curriculum.
Alison's areas of expertise include Indigenous inclusions in Years 7-10 Australian Curriculum, and guiding professional learning journeys in to develop anti-racism capabilities.
